We're always interested in talking to new people but we're aware that EVE is a very political environment so we do have a few checks to go through before we accept people into the Corp fully. If you're interested in joining -HNW- be sure that you've done the following:
- Read about us. Take particular note of our principles and be sure that they're something you're entirely comfortable with.
- Register with our forums. Be sure to activate your account and say hi! Most of our detailed discussion is posted on our forums so if you're not registered, activated and active there you'll constantly be missing out.
- Contact us in-game. We're looking for people to get involved and be active, help us build a great, lively Corporation.
- Make an application. Our headquarters are at Sirppala 4 - Moon 16 - Kaalakiota Corporation Warehouse but we sporadically maintain other offices that may be closer; ask for details.
- Get involved! Don't wait for us to process your application - offer to help our members, ask to get involved in missions and generally dive in and start playing with us.
We're accepting players at all levels from all EVE races.
You will need to read, write and speak English decently as that is our common language. Our wider community contains a number of people from all over Europe and we find they often have better English than the natives...
We don't have any age restrictions for you as a player but we do expect a certain maturity from our members. Our members at THN have been as young as 13 and as old as 50some with the average age probably sitting in the low 20's. If you can handle the occasional bit of coarse language, aren't constantly needing help with your homework and are generally comfortable to be around online then you'll fit right in. THN itself is an open community so we've a very wide range of people and personalities; they don't always mix perfectly but we do just fine in the long run!
We are hoping for -HNW- members to also get involved in other activities around The Haven Net [THN]. This isn't mandatory by any means but we, as a community, also play a variety of other games that you're also welcome to get involved with. Just ask around our forums.
We run our own TeamSpeak server at teamspeak.thehavennet.org.uk that you're welcome to join us on. We tend to hang out in there when we're doing an operation or just wanting some company while flying the cosmos.
